Der CELL CIRCLE ist eine Form, die besonders den Tastsinn anspricht. Er entstand aus dem schlichten Bedürfnis, Ton mit den Händen zu formen. Das Modellieren von Kugeln versetzte mich in einen Zustand tiefer Ruhe. In der Entspannung kam mir die Idee, die Kugeln eine nach der anderen zu öffnen und behutsam mit dem Schwamm zu verformen. Als sie so nebeneinander lagen, sah ich darin Zellen einer größeren Form, und als ich diese Zellen mit einander verband, begann die Form zu atmen. So entstand der CELL CIRCLE – in einem Dialog zwischen Ton und Händen.
The CELL CIRCLE has a shape that especially stimulates the sense of touch. It was developed from the pure desire to form clay with the hands. Modelling spheres has set me in a calm and peaceful state of mind. In this state of relaxation I had the idea to open the spheres one by one and to gently deform them with a sponge. As they were lying there next to each other, I saw cells of a larger form in them, and when I connected those cells, this form started to breathe. And so the CELL CIRCLE was created – in a dialog between clay and hands.
